How would you describe your photography and videography style?
We favour natural moments and light-filled imagery. Our approach is a combination of friendly direction and candid fly-on-the-wall captures, intended to capture you at your best.
Where are you based?
We are based in sunny Byron Bay in northen NSW. We regularly capture weddings in Byron Bay, the Tweed Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane. We also have photographers based in Sydney who often travel to the Southern Highlands and Hunter Valley areas.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes we do! We are available to travel to for weddings throughout Australia, New Zealand, Bali, Europe and other international destinations on request.
What are your travel fees?
These vary depending on the location and time of year. We aim to keep our travel fees as low as possible, and are transparent with our one-off, all-inclusive travel fees which cover any and all of our costs so that they don’t escalate for you. Our travel fees often include flights, accommodation, car hire and travel insurances.
Can you assist with planning our wedding day timeline?
Of course! Planning a wedding can be overwhelming so our packages include a consultation with our creative director, Lara Milenko, to discuss your wedding day plans and the best lighting at your venues.
Can we print our images?
Yes! Our wedding photography packages include your image set on a usb flash drive in high resolution, and without any watermarks. We are happy to arrange beautiful fine art prints for you, or you can print your own.
Can we share our photos and videos online?
Yes! We supply you with low resolution images and web videos also, so you can easily email or upload to social media.
Can we access our photos on an online gallery?
Yes! Our wedding photography packages include an online gallery so you can access your photos easily on the go, and share the gallery with your family and friends.
What are the advantages in having a second photographer at my wedding?
In regards to a one or two photographer package option there are a few things to consider.
Firstly, how many guests do you envisage you’ll have at your wedding? For weddings up to around 100 guests, one photographer can cover the day quite thoroughly. Sometimes couples also prefer to have less photographers present for a smaller wedding so a singular photographer is suitable. For a larger wedding we’d suggest having two photographers to suit the scale of the event.
This said, many of our couples opt for two photographers for their smaller weddings also as there are a couple of further advantages. Having two photographers allows for separate bride and groom getting ready coverage, multiple angles of key events throughout the day, and generally more ability to capture detail photos of settings and styling. We like our first shooter to be more of a prominent photographer on the day, who offers direction at times and is thorough in capturing the key bride and groom moments. This allows our second photographer to be a bit of an ‘invisible photographer’ who quietly captures candid moments of your family and friends whilst they are unaware that they are being photographed. The overall outcome is that your image set is a balance of key moments and quiet, candid moments, many of which you probably won’t have even been aware of on your wedding day.
